In the summer of 2012 I became interested in a job posting that preferred a CAP.  My curiosity peeked and I began to investigate this "CAP."  I soon realized that in order to sit for the CAP - Certified Administrative Professional in Nov. 2012, that I needed to pay a fee which would be less expensive if I became a member of this (completely unknown to me) organization called International Association of Administrative Professionals.  So, I immediately signed up, paid my membership registration and testing fee, so that I could test in Nov. 2012, not knowing what to expect. I must say I was very impressed with the small but mighty New York State Division Annual Meeting this past weekend.  We were joined by International Treasurer, Dortha Gray, CAP-OM, who shared her knowledge and passion about bylaws and Robert's Rules.

The Buffalo Chapter out did themselves yet again, by bringing us a famous keynote speaker, Steve Tasker, former Buffalo Bills special teams player and NFL Hall of Fame member, and seminar leader, Rhonda Scharf, CSP.
