Chapter Meetings and Events

The Chapter meets once a month, September through June, on the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the Independence area at the Holiday Inn Hotel Independence, 6001 Rockside Rd, Independence, OH. See this year's list of programs here.

To celebrate Administrative Professional's Day, our April Chapter meeting will be held on Administrative Professional's Day, the 4th Wednesday.

Did you know that Diversity reaches further than race and gender? On April 23, join us to hear Amanda Cooper, Program Specialist at the Diversity Center of Northeast Ohio tune us in to "Diversity 101".

Amanda Cooper received her Bachelor and Master’s degrees in Psychology, along with Certification in Diversity Management, from Cleveland State University. Her work background has provided her with invaluable experience and insight into both the challenges and rewards that come from recruiting, developing and retaining a diverse workforce. Ms. Cooper is currently working towards a Ph.D. in International Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology.

Ohio Division Annual Meeting (ODAM)

The Ohio Division Annual Meeting will be held June 20-22 at the Holiday Inn in Fairborn.

International IAAP Meetings & Events


The International Education Forum & Annual Meeting is IAAP’s premier event taking place during the summer with over 1,200 attendees. This event offers more than 50 education workshops focusing on topics from management skills to leadership development. Attendees will have the opportunity to see the inner workings of the association by attending the business sessions that highlight the association leadership. And don’t forget the numerous networking events that provide social gatherings with your peers.

Since 1952, the International Association of Administrative Professionals has honored office workers by sponsoring Administrative Professionals Week. Today, it is one of the largest workplace observances outside of employee birthdays and major holidays. 


TEC14 is geared to the administrative professional who uses technology on a daily basis and would like in depth training to work smarter in various platforms and software, as well as be exposed to new and innovative technology options.
