“Make the Leap to Remarkable” – this year’s IAAP theme
Webster’s dictionary defines ‘remarkable’ as “worthy of being or likely to be noticed especially as being uncommon or extraordinary.” How do we do this? It can’t be done without your help. Initiative – do you have it? Our members need to take the initiative to assume more responsibly. Volunteer for a committee – maybe one that you never thought you would want to serve on. Offer to present a program at a chapter meeting. The rewards that you will reap will be amazing.
So, I challenge each of you this month to take the initiative to do something that’s above and beyond what is required of you. You’re on the honour system here; no one will know if you do or don’t. That is, no one except the most important person – YOU.
Let’s get moving on what is going to be a fantastic year! If you have any questions, contact me.
