This program takes us beyond “Stress 101” sessions that describe the fight-flight response and how to relax, exercise, talk with friends and do the basic wellness skills. The Energy Director System helps you develop your own stress management approach to handling the kind of stress you have in your life. You will develop your own strategies for transforming stress into power—your way.

This is a 60 minute presentation on how to handle the stress in your life - both at work and at home. By analyzing your energy type, and your co-workers, you will learn how to handle any situation.

Short Bio on Presenter:  Michael Finazzo is an Employee Assistance Program professional with over 28 years experience in administration, planning, consultation, personal coaching,  training and seminars, marketing, sales, and career transition coaching, with small to large organizations. Effective interaction with top-level leadership as well as the general workforce.  Michael is the President of Windward Employee Solutions, Inc , Portage, MI  from 1996 to present.  He etablished to assist organizations in developing strategies for effective intervention with workforce concerns. Provide EAP, consultation, crisis debriefing, and coaching services for organizations from 25 to over 1,000 employees. 

This Chapter meeting we also install the 2012-2013 Board with a ribbon ceremony.

Dinner is a potluck provided by the members.  The Board will provide ice cream and toppings for dessert.

Marci Goldshlack, has over 30 years’ experience as a corporate trainer and educational consultant, meeting management and employee needs for organizations, both for profit and non-profit.

Marci Goldshlack is a long standing member of the American Society of Training and Development (ASTD), The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACET), and the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce.

She has been a keynote speaker for the IQPC Shared Services Conferences since 2003 and the National Association of Development Organizations (NADO) since 2004.

As a certified national master trainer, Marci Goldshlack, has assisted many organizations to meet their specific business and staff development goals, so that they can achieve a higher level of productivity and decrease employee turnover.

In 2011, she received an honorary membership of the International Association of Administrative Professionals for her time and service for the Central Jersey Chapter.

The Charlotte Chapter IAAP invites you to join us at our June 11, 2012 chapter meeting.  The guest speaker, Barbara Busey will present a topic on the "Seven Secrets to Being a More Dynamic S.P.E.A.K.E.R.”  Barbara is the owner of her own training and consulting firm—Presentation Dynamics—where she specializes in the dynamics of how people present themselves...  She has been training, speaking, coaching, and writing in the area of communication skills for over 20 years.  Her areas of expertise include: Public Speaking, Business & Social Dynamics, Effective Writing, and Interpersonal and Team Communication.  She has produced an audio CD and a DVD, and is the author of the award-winning book Stand Out When You Stand Up—An A to Z Guide to Powerful Presentations.  This meeting qualifies for one recertification point and will be awarded to all CAP and CAP-OM holders with active status.  A certificate of attendance is also available for all attendees.
