Presented by:  Karen Schumacher

Karen Schumacher is the Learning & Development Manager at Van Meter, Inc.  Outside of this role, she also serves as a motivational speaker and coach focused on leadership and personal development.  She has 20 years' of experience in the learning and development field.  Karen is a certified trainer in several programs such a John Maxwell's The 360 Degree Leader, Real Colors Personality Instrument, Wilson Leaning Working Styles, and Keys to Customer Satisfaction.  She is a mother of two and loves to read, play golf, and hunts with her husband.
 

The phrase "trust in the workplace" is used so often and in so many contexts that we find ourselves becoming numb to what that means.  Many people believe trust is a leadership competency.  I believe it is a personal competency.  This interactive session will have you laughing and thinking as we complete activities that help us define what trust looks like and determine what causes us to trust or not trust others or ourselves.

REGISTRATION FEE:
Member Meeting Cost: $16.00
Non-Member Meeting Cost: $20.00

MENU:
Delicious lasagna, garlic sticks, salad, and Rice Krispie treats.  Coffee, tea, and lemonade are included with the meal.  

RSVP:
If you are a Standing Yes or Standing No, you do not need to respond.  All others should RSVP to CRIAAPRSVP@aol.com or call Shelly O'Neal at (319) 389-2940.  RSVPs are due by Monday, February 13, 2011, at 5:00 PM. 
 If you have special dietary restrictions, please indicate this with your RSVP.

RESERVATION POLICY:

Reservations are requested for IAAP chapter meetings in order for our caterer to prepare the proper number of meals. The cost for these meetings is $16.00 for member and $20 for non-members, payable by check or cash at the door. We do not accept credit cards at this time. The meeting fee is the same, whether or not you choose to eat the meal provided.  Reservations are due no later than 5:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to the meeting.  No-shows will be billed unless they cancel by 5:00 p.m. on the Monday prior to the meeting.
