Community Service

The Plano Chapter of IAAP, has adopted Barron Elementary School, home of the Big Cats, for our Box Tops for Education Program. Members have collected over 700 Box Tops for the school. The chapter members also supported the school with a school supply drive, and Angel Tree Program for the 2010 and 2011 years. Among the supplies donated to the school in August 2011, were a laminator, binding machine, paper cutters, and over 15 heavy duty pencil sharpeners, all donated by an associate member. The Plano Chapter adopted 25 students from the Angel Tree program for the 2011 year. We are currently accepting donations towards the purchase of the following school supplies for the 2012-2013 school year:

  • Crayola watercolors (100)
  • Crayola crayons (100)
  • Poly pocket folder w/brads, assorted colors (100)

Please bring your donations to the June chapter meeting. You can also make a donation below with a credit card via PayPal; a $2 PayPal fee will be added to each transaction.

Our chapter continues to look for ways to give back to our community, so if you have any community service projects that you are passionate about, please let one of our Board members know. GO Bigcats!!
