Illinois Division News 


The Illinois Division Board of Directors invites us to join them in Elgin for IDAM 2010 as they celebrate... Yesterday, Today and Tomorrow. The event will be held Friday, April 30th - Sunday, May 2nd. Please consider attending for networking opportunities, the Friday Welcome Reception, Friday's certification seminar on "From Shorthand to Texting to ???" and "The Gift of G.A.B.". Attendees will earn 6 recertification points and .6 Continuing Education Units. We will keep you posted with more information as they come available. Please let Cheryl Franklin or Margaret Bucholz know if you are planning to attend as the Two Rivers chapter will be needing to discuss and vote on a delegate and alternate to attend for voting purposes.

Other News 

Please mark your calendar and tell your administrative friends to keep the date of Thursday, April 22, 2010. We will be holding our 6th Annual APW Event. A flyer with all of the details will be sent out shortly. Our presenter for that evening will be Kathleen Peterson. She will present "Find Balance As You Juggle it All!". We are still looking for volunteers for APW preparation, so please let Cheryl Franklin or Margaret Bucholz know if you can help out!

Chapter News

Two Rivers Chapter was awarded the Chapter of Excellence Award for 2008-2009.  Please join us the second Tuesday of each month (5:30 PM) at the Wyndham-Lisle (3000 Warrenville Rd., Lisle, IL 60532) to see our new Chapter of Excellence banner and network with our members. Cost is $15 for members, $18 for guests, and includes dinner.  

Hope to see you at our next meeting, but remember, you have to register. If you bring a new guest, their first time is free so they can try us out.
  

 

 

 

 

Pursuant to the passage of a bylaws amendment by the delegates at the 2009 International Education Forum and Annual Meeting, effective January 1, 2010 annual dues, (for any member who resides in the United States, its territories, Puerto Rico, the Virgin Islands of the United States, or Canada) payable in U.S. funds, will be submitted based on classification of membership as follows:
