Monthly Meetings - IAAP: North Dallas Chapter

The North Dallas Chapter has monthly Board of Directors meetings. Board Meetings are scheduled for the first Tuesday of every month.

The North Dallas Chapter has monthly Chapter meetings on the third Tuesday of each month except December, which is the second Tuesday, at designated locations.

Next Chapter Meeting: November 17, 2009

Dinner reservations are at a cost of $26 for members, $31 for non-members. You will need to email  Karen Gallagher CAP at IAAP.Reservations@yahoo.com or call 214-673-1762 before 12:00 p.m. on the Wednesday preceding the meeting to cancel any dinner reservation and avoid a no-show billing. No-shows will be responsible for the cost if the reservation is not cancelled. If you wish to attend only the program and business meeting, you may do so: $6 for members, $11 non-members.

To make a dinner reservations, contact Karen Gallagher CPS/CAP by Thursday, 12:00 p.m. prior to Tuesday’s meeting.

We'll discuss ways to use email more efficiently, and how to leverage newer technologies such as Instant Messaging, Twitter, and tools built into Windows and Google, within the office environment.  From a personal prospective, we will discuss utilizing LinkedIn and Facebook as networking tools and for locating and discussing job opportunities and new skills. Using these technologies and techniques will allow you to work more efficiently and be able to respond rapidly to changing business and economic conditions.
