You can become a Certified Administrative Professional--CAP. Every year, exams are administered in May and November.

There are also specialty certifications available--organization management and technology applications.  IAAP Headquarters is working on developing other specialties as well. 

This year's exam dates are May 5 and Nov. 3, and application deadline dates are Feb. 15 and Aug. 15, respectively.  Please contact Certification Chairman Becky Blazek, CAP-OM with any questions.
